Vail is one of the most accessible resorts in Colorado, with regular flights to the Vail airport on most of the major U.S. airlines. We've included the flight paths for all of the major alliances below, so you can work out the best way to get your trip started.

Qantas flies directly to Los Angeles and Dallas Fort Worth, with connecting flights available to Denver and Vail-Eagle airports (if you fly from DFW to Vail make sure you get a direct connection from DFW to Vail, not via Denver). Or fly American Airlines fly direct to Los Angeles and connect to Denver or Vail-Eagle.

Rent a car
If you'd rather rent a car for your stay in Vail, that's easy - choose from any of the above car rental providers to book your car from either Denver or Vail airport.
Driving from Denver takes about 2 hours by road on the I-70, a 4-6 lane divided interstate freeway that takes in some spectacular alpine scenery including the 3250 metre Vail pass. Roads are cleared by snowplough around the clock and can almost always be negotiated without fitting snow chains.
Driving from Eagle-Vail airport takes just over 30 minutes, and valet parking is available at the Four Seasons (charges apply).
