Rent a car
If you'd rather rent a car for your stay in Vail, that's easy - choose from any of the above car rental providers to book your car from either Denver or Vail airport.
Driving from Denver takes about 2 hours by road on the I-70, a 4-6 lane divided interstate freeway that takes in some spectacular alpine scenery including the 3250 metre Vail pass. Roads are cleared by snowplough around the clock and can almost always be negotiated without fitting snow chains.
Driving from Eagle-Vail airport takes just over 30 minutes, and valet parking is available at the Four Seasons (charges apply).
Buy or rent ski equipment.
Snowbound has been providing ski equipment to Australia for decades. They've got everything you need, including skis, boards, helmets, poles, gloves, thermals and more, all carefully selected by the staff to give you the best value for money.
Or if you'd prefer, buy or rent your ski equipment inside The Four Seasons when you get to Vail. They've partnered with Gorsuch to bring high quality ski equipment to guests in the hotel, at Ski Concierge and all around the village.
Socialise with us.
We'll publish updated schedules, answer your questions, recommend the best places to eat and ski in Vail and more in the lead up to the meeting. And once it begins, post your questions on either Facebook or Twitter, and our lecturers will answer right after their presentations.
Ski with style.
Featuring songs from past events and collected over a decade on the slopes, Ski with Colloquium is a relaxing collection of downtempo electronica and alternative, from some of the best artists in the genres. Listen on your way to Vail, down your favourite run, or in front of the fire. You can hear every song, in full, in the player below. Just sign up for a free Spotify account, and it's yours.
